Navigating institutions is never a picnic. Our staff is here to help residents resolve transportation challenges, find the access to health insurance assistance, apply for social security, or secure housing repairs or basic rights, among countless other issues. BHNC is a trusted ally that knows where to begin – in multiple languages.
Weekly: Through our Brown Bag Program any residents needing support with groceries can access BHNC food pantry once per week at no cost. On Wednesdays, participants may access fresh fruits, vegetables, grains and otherpantry items.
Monthly: Through our Food Box Program, seniors age 60 and over who qualify may receive a food box as part of the federal Commodity Supplemental Food Program. On the second Saturday of the month, BHNC distributes non-perishable items through this program.
