Adult Employment

Job readiness is at the heart of the work in our Adult Employment program. We guide participants through career exploration, self-assessments, the job search, resume and cover letter preparation, interview practice, and assistance with job applications. Every step of the way, BHNC staff serves as allies to each participant. For 7 years we have worked predominantly with monolingual Chinese- and Spanish-speakers. Most are recent immigrants struggling in poverty. Many are older adults. All gain a new sense of their potential and a path forward.
