Adult Employment

Job readiness is at the heart of our Adult Employment program. We guide participants through career exploration, self-assessments, the job search, resume and cover letter preparation, interview practice, and assistance with job applications. Every step of the way, BHNC staff serve as allies to each participant. For seven years, we have worked predominantly with monolingual Chinese- and Spanish-speakers. Most are recent immigrants struggling in poverty. Many are older adults. All gain a new sense of their potential and a path forward.
