Community Congress

BHNC’s annual Community Congress, held in May, is a significant and long-standing event for our neighborhood. It serves as our yearly community meeting where the Bernal Heights community gathers in force to organize and address pressing local issues.

The event features a series of breakout groups and workshops focused on topics such as public safety and neighborhood development. Crucially, it provides a vital opportunity for the Bernal community to work together to identify neighborhood priorities, engage in collective decision making, and produce meaningful outcomes. This gathering brings neighbors together to strengthen belonging through intention and openness.
